Three Infiltration Wells Built in Utan Kayu Utara Urban Village

Three infiltration wells are being built at Utan Kayu Utara Urban Village Office's yard, Matraman, East Jakarta, on Monday (11/9).

Those three infiltration wells are built manually

Utan Kayu Utara Urban Village Head, Euis Saadah conveyed, construction of three infiltration wells had been started a week ago.

One of those infiltration wells has entered finishing stage and the other two are still in the process of excavating and installing pipe concrete (buis beton).

"Those three infiltration wells are built manually. The pipe concrete molding process is carried out at urban village office," she mentioned.

In order to built three infiltration wells with an average depth of three meters and diameter 1.2 meters, her side deployed 10 SDA Unit personnel and Urban Village PPSU personnel.

"Hopefully those infiltration wells can minimize inundation and flood during rainy season and no shortage of water during dry season," she said.
